But with man and women’s diet similar, women are becoming as equally likely to suffer from heart disease as men.
Cardiovascular disease works like this, cholesterol plaques gradually block the arteries in the heart and brain, and this then causes a blood clot to form, blocking the artery and causing a heart attack or stroke.
This is happening earlier and earlier in human existence. Each generation our life expectancy is lowered, by the growing rates of obesity and diabetes.
Mans average age for death from cardiovascular disease is fewer than 65.
That precious time spent building for retirement, surely looks worse now than it has ever done before.
